Just to push some Swedish scientific advances (actually designed by some academics researching alcoholism, not kidding…):

Go search for “Revigör”, basically a supplement containing the vitamins and minerals the body uses up (and hence tends to run short of) when burning alcohol. It’s not a miracle cure but it typically makes a significant difference.
